About:

While working at Visual Dialogue, I helped to design a graphics system to enliven areas in Springfield, MA and direct foot traffic towards the downtown area. The proposed system draws from Springfield’s history as the “crossroads of New England” and notable residents like Dr. Seuss and Milton Bradley. These influences helped to inform a colorful, bold approach, featuring crisscrossing vector graphics. Using Processing, I developed a program to generate the large scale, flowing graphics, adding an innovative approach to the system.
